My therapeutic approach
When life feels confusing, heavy, or overwhelming, it can be difficult to know what we feel, what we need – or where to begin. Together, we explore this with calm, care, curiosity, and openness.
I work with an integrative and holistic approach where thoughts, feelings, relationships, and bodily signals are taken into care and consideration. When we see and listen to the whole of who we are, it becomes easier to understand what is happening inside – and to move in a direction that feels meaningful.
Grounding and Growth
When stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions take up a lot of space, the body can help us access our emotions and inner world more easily. Grounding in psychology is about finding calm in the present moment and strengthening the connection with the body through supportive techniques, such as breathing exercises and bringing awareness to the senses. An important part of grounding is also gaining access to our emotions – being able to connect with the body where a lot of our feelings live, feel them and process them. This helps regulate the nervous system.
I will support and guide you in this, and it’s important to me that you experience safety, warmth and respect throughout the process.
From a safer inner foundation, we can open up to growth:
- Exploring your dreams, needs, and boundaries
- Strengthening self-esteem and inner security
- Living more in line with what matters to you
Growth is not about performing more, but about living more authentically. It is about being able to show up as your whole self – including the vulnerable parts.
A Collaboration Between Mind, Body, and Emotion
I draw tools and perspectives from several therapeutic modalities, including:
- Psychodynamic therapy – exploring patterns, relationships, and how your history affects you today
- Emotion-focused therapy – exploring your feelings and understanding emotions as important signals
- Somatic therapy – actively including the body, where emotions are also expressed physically
- Cognitive therapy – increasing awareness of thoughts and how they shape feelings and behavior
- Mindfulness – grounding, self-compassion, and connecting to the present moment
Therapy is both a safe space and a place for exploration – where you can land, feel, and gradually move toward the change you seek.
What you can expect in therapy with me
I’m here to guide and support you in:
- Exploring and understanding your emotions
- Regulating the nervous system and finding safety within and in relationships
- Strengthening awareness of your own needs and boundaries
- Cultivating greater self-awareness, self-compassion and inner calm
- Making choices that reflect your values and your life goals
My aim is to help you deepen your connection to yourself, feel well within, and live a life that genuinely feels right for you.

Walking therapy
I offer walk-and-talk therapy because walking side by side can for some make it easier to open up, reflect, and process emotions. Being outdoors adds a calming, grounding element to the session.
Whether you’re more comfortable outside or find sitting face-to-face overwhelming, this approach offers a gentle, supportive space for our therapeutic work.
We’ll agree on where to go for a walk. Whether in the city or in nature — all depending on where you’re comfortable.
